Operations Manager – 3PL & Special Handling Network

About the role

Amazon is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the performance of its third‑party logistics (3PL) and special handling network across the MENA region. You will partner with external fulfillment providers to ensure they meet Amazon’s high standards for operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement while supporting rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage performance, cost, and capacity of external fulfillment logistics providers (3PL).
• Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance; maintain KPIs and SLAs with 3PL partners.
• Lead major projects within MENA Operations Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Transportation to support growth.
• Drive process improvements and cost‑optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize import container flow in close partnership with Amazon Global Logistics.
• Support contract negotiations with external fulfillment partners.
• Prioritize projects and software feature requests, set stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and maintain communication processes to ensure accurate information flow across Amazon Retail and external fulfillment teams.
• Travel up to 40% to UAE and other MENA locations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
