Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to lead the configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules. The role involves translating business requirements into effective cloud configurations and working closely with technical teams, auditors, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with finance stakeholders.
• Configure Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses).
• Design and set up Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, and business units.
• Define sub‑ledger accounting (SLA) rules and approval workflows (BPM).
• Lead functional design of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with technical teams on reports (BIP/OTBI), data conversions (FBDI), and integrations.
• Support statutory and tax reporting configurations, including multi‑currency and localization.
• Conduct CRP sessions, functional testing, and UAT support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues related to accounting entries, workflows, tax calculations, and period close.
• Provide guidance on Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash integration points.
• Assist with security setup for finance roles and segregation of duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Deep functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Expenses.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, configure modules, and produce functional documentation.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, tax requirements and multi‑currency setups.
