Order Taker - In Room Dining

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking an Order Taker to join its In‑Room Dining team. You will be the first point of contact for guests ordering food and beverage to their rooms, providing expert recommendations and ensuring a seamless service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders for in‑room dining via phone or tablet, offering menu suggestions and wine pairings.
• Monitor order progress, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist servers with guest requests, including VIP amenities and special dietary preferences.
• Maintain accurate guest communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Prepare and clear service areas, manage daily mise‑en‑place, and keep office supplies stocked.
• Process orders and billing efficiently using the POS system.
