About the role

The Pastry Commis (Level 1) supports the pastry team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. You will assist in preparing and presenting high‑quality desserts while maintaining strict food safety standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

Prepare mise‑en‑place for all pastry outlets as required.
Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
Maintain clean and hygienic work areas, adhering to sanitation and HACCP procedures.
Assist with events, banquets and other functions, providing pastry support.
Ensure proper food storage, dating, rotation and compliance with safety regulations.
Participate in departmental training and follow checklists and cleaning schedules.

Required profile

Basic cake decorating, piping, glazing and dessert plating abilities.
Knowledge of baking techniques and operation of pastry equipment.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
