Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive ensures smooth front‑desk operations by greeting patients, handling registrations, billing, insurance queries and communication with clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to appropriate departments.
• Register new patients and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and confirming.
• Handle telephone and email inquiries, forwarding information to doctors or nurses as needed.
• Provide information on medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and process claim forms.
• Collect daily cash, credit‑card slips and cheques, and ensure accurate end‑of‑shift financial processing.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills and explain charges to patients.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules and doctor rosters.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NMC regulations, infection‑control and patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or a related field.
• Familiarity with NMC regulations, infection‑control and patient‑safety standards.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient data.
