About the role
The Pharmacy Clerk supports patient care by ensuring the pharmacy store is well‑stocked and organized. Working within Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, you will handle medical consumables for both inpatient and outpatient units, maintaining inventory accuracy and store cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
- Distribute medical consumables to units based on requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels, perform monthly cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming stock following company standards.
- Address stock queries from internal stakeholders promptly.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
Required profile
- Secondary school qualification (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Relevant pharmacy store experience in a healthcare setting.
Required skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of medical consumables and medical terminology.
- Numerical literacy and understanding of stock‑taking principles and procedures.
