Physiotherapist

About the role

The Physiotherapist will join Deira Medical Center’s rehabilitation department in Dubai, delivering evidence‑based physiotherapy services to patients recovering from surgery, injury, stroke or chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify physical problems and develop individualized treatment programmes.
• Provide joint, spinal and post‑operative physiotherapy, including stroke and accident rehabilitation.
• Document case notes, maintain patient statistics and report adverse clinical events.
• Educate patients and carers on prevention and self‑management strategies.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain physiotherapy equipment, coordinate supply orders and ensure a safe work environment.
• Stay updated with current physiotherapy techniques through continuing education.

Required profile

• Registered Physiotherapist licensed by the Dubai Health Authority.
• Proven experience in clinical rehabilitation and multi‑disciplinary team settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and health‑care professionals.
