Procurement Officer

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a Procurement Officer to support the sourcing of goods, materials, and services essential for its operations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective purchases while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations to source required goods and services.
• Prepare purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships, addressing any procurement issues that arise.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and ERP processes.
• Keep accurate procurement records and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain functions.
• Proven experience using ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Preferred: CIPS or equivalent certification; experience in manufacturing, defence, or industrial sectors.
