Project Engineer – Fit‑out

About the role

The Project Engineer – Fit‑out will lead the planning, coordination and execution of interior fit‑out works for Azizi Developments. You will ensure that all activities are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget and to the approved specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day fit‑out activities on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, interior designers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to guarantee smooth execution.
• Review architectural, interior design, MEP, structural and shop drawings, identifying technical issues and discrepancies.
• Manage the preparation, review and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements and RFIs.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule, provide regular updates to the Project Manager and ensure proper sequencing of works.
• Inspect completed works for quality, compliance with standards and resolve any defects in collaboration with QA/QC teams.
• Control material logistics, deliveries and storage to meet project requirements.
• Participate in site, coordination and progress meetings, and support the preparation of as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in interior fit‑out engineering or construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of fit‑out processes, drawings, materials and subcontractor management.
• Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and ability to enforce project safety standards.
