Project Procurement Manager

About the role

Blue Bahar Engineering is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for an international Fit‑Out Exhibition project in Dubai. The role starts immediately and requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Research new materials to support design innovation and achieve cost savings.
• Maintain and verify subcontractor and supplier insurance policies.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that drive cost reductions and simplify processes.
• Establish and nurture relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure resources, improve pricing, and enhance quality.
• Assist in maintaining the company’s quality control program.
• Handle change order requests and ensure they are processed accurately.
• Prepare and manage construction budgets and pre‑forms for project works.
• Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials and equipment.
• Meet subcontractors and suppliers on‑site as required.
• Monitor compliance with project budgets and provide deviation analysis.
• Perform accurate take‑offs to support budget precision.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience on international construction projects.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Architecture, or Engineering.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP R3 and procurement ERP systems such as ARIBA.
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level); Arabic is an asset.
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams and supplier networks.
• Prior involvement in museum or exhibition project procurement is highly valued.
