Public Area Attendant – Dubai Marina

About the role

Join the InterContinental Dubai Marina team as a Public Area Attendant, ensuring all guest‑facing spaces are immaculate and welcoming. You will play a key part in delivering the high‑standard hospitality experience expected of a five‑star property.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, staircases and back‑of‑house zones.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Replenish restroom supplies and ensure amenities are fully stocked and functional.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concerns.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost‑and‑found items to the appropriate departments.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers safely and efficiently.
• Assist the housekeeping team during peak periods or special events.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel SOPs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar public‑area cleaning role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Positive, approachable personality.
