Purchasing Buyer – Ras Al Khaimah Resort

About the role

The Purchasing Buyer will support the resort’s procurement function, ensuring that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively and in line with brand standards. Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor and Manager, you will act as a key liaison between hotel departments and approved suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Source products and obtain competitive quotations from approved and potential suppliers.
• Compare prices, quality, specifications, availability and delivery timelines to inform purchasing decisions.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and within required timelines.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to understand specifications, quantities and operational requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on pending orders, deliveries and any quality or supply concerns.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, quotations and supporting documentation.
• Monitor pending requisitions and ensure timely fulfillment.

Required profile

• Organised and commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Confident in dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced resort environment.
