Purchasing Officer – Hotel Procurement

About the role

The Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities for its 280-room hotel. You will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a fully stocked inventory while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations and compare price, quality and delivery terms.
• Update internal databases with order details, including dates, vendors, quantities and discounts.
• Maintain records of invoices, purchase orders and contracts.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm or modify orders.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet purchasing requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a four‑ or five‑star hotel.
• Hands‑on experience with purchasing software such as Adaco, FBM or Jana System.
• Knowledge of market research and supply‑chain procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
