Python Engineer – MLOps Platform

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Python Engineer to join its AI team and build the core infrastructure for an MLOps platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support the full AI lifecycle, from model training to inference, in a heavily regulated financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and tooling for AI workloads and GPU‑based processing.
• Profile and optimise model training and inference for latency, throughput, and stability using PyTorch and CUDA libraries.
• Improve GPU compute utilisation, memory consumption, and bandwidth across shared, multi‑tenant, multi‑node environments.
• Implement mixed‑precision execution, quantisation, efficient batching, gradient accumulation, and memory‑efficient attention.
• Create repeatable benchmarking practices, automated regression tests, and guide engineering teams on execution frameworks and GPU selection.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in production (Linux, Kubernetes, containerised workloads).
• Strong background in Python development for high‑performance computing.
• Hands‑on experience with GPU‑accelerated workloads and deep‑learning frameworks.
