QA/QC Manager – SWRO (Desalination Projects)

About the role

The QA/QC Manager will support the Owner’s Engineer team on the Fujairah IWP project, ensuring that all EPC Contractor deliverables meet contractual, specification and HSE requirements. The role focuses on quality documentation throughout construction, testing, commissioning and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor EPC Contractor quality management plans for design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Inspect site work, material receipts, testing activities and punch‑list closure.
• Identify non‑conformities, track corrective actions and ensure timely close‑out.
• Validate progress reports, inspection and test reports, and handover documentation from a QA/QC perspective.
• Maintain QA/QC registers, records and monthly reporting inputs.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers, HSE, document control and the EPC Contractor to enforce quality requirements.
• Support readiness reviews for pre‑commissioning, commissioning, performance and reliability testing.
• Contribute to lessons‑learned and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of experience on large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years in a QA/QC Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience with SWRO desalination or large‑scale water‑treatment projects.
• Experience working in the Middle East, preferably the UAE.
