Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

About the role

Mohamed Hilal Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join its Interior Fit‑Out Division. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take‑offs and tender submissions for high‑end residential, commercial and retail fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for joinery, civil, MEP, finishing and interior fit‑out works.
• Review tender documents and produce accurate cost estimates.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Submit competitive tenders within required timelines.
• Analyse project costs, identify value‑engineering opportunities and monitor budgets, variations and change orders.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and project teams to ensure cost‑effective execution.
• Assist in contract administration, payment applications and final account settlements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in interior fit‑out quantity surveying and estimation.
• Proven experience on luxury villas, retail outlets, hospitality and commercial fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and interior finishing works.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and a valid UAE driving licence are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with estimation and quantity surveying software.
