Radiography Technologist

About the role

NMC Healthcare is seeking a qualified Radiography Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team in Dubai. The successful candidate will perform sonography examinations, manage imaging equipment, and ensure high‑quality diagnostic images for physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sonography procedures following departmental policies and protocols.
• Produce high‑diagnostic‑quality images, acquire additional views when needed, and forward them to radiologists.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, reporting shortages promptly.
• Operate advanced ultrasound equipment, including Doppler scans, and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance.
• Enter patient and imaging data into the Hospital Information System and upload images to the PACS.
• Support quality and safety initiatives, report incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Formal education and certification in radiography/sonography.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
• Excellent communication with patients, clinical staff, and radiologists.

Required skills

• Sonography imaging techniques
• Operation of ultrasound equipment, including Doppler
• Use of Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Experience with PACS image management
