Reception Manager – Steakhouse

About the role

The Wynn Al Marjan Island resort is seeking a Reception Manager for its flagship Steakhouse restaurant. Reporting to the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless, personalized arrival experience that aligns with Wynn’s luxury standards and Forbes Travel Guide 5‑Star service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑arrival guest communication, reservations, preferences, special requests and VIP arrangements.
• Review guest profiles to anticipate needs and coordinate special occasions with culinary and service teams.
• Oversee reservations, waitlists, walk‑ins and queue management using the SevenRooms system.
• Collaborate with floor and kitchen staff to optimise seating flow, occupancy and waiting times.
• Lead, schedule, coach and develop the reception team in guest engagement, conflict resolution and service standards.
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations, VIPs and service pacing, reinforcing anticipatory, guest‑centric service.
• Capture guest preferences and feedback, support service recovery and use insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience managing reception or front‑of‑house operations in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hotel or comparable hospitality setting.
• Fluent English with professional communication skills; additional language proficiency (Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese or Italian) is highly valued.
• Background in international or multicultural hospitality environments and familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SevenRooms reservation and queue‑management system.
