About the role

The Customer Reception Host at Toyota Retail Aftersales is the first point of contact for visitors, responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensuring a smooth customer journey. The role focuses on welcoming guests, directing them to the right departments, and handling appointments and inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, aiming for a 100% satisfaction score.
• Identify the purpose of each visit and guide guests to the appropriate department or Service Advisor.
• Manage appointment flow, ensuring customers with scheduled visits are escorted efficiently.
• Answer incoming calls, coordinate scheduling with the Customer Engagement Contact Centre, and handle reception duties when Service Advisors are unavailable.
• Report and escalate any customer complaints to the Reception Manager for timely resolution.
• Monitor and report health and safety issues that could affect customers or staff.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage reception activities.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing customer flow and appointments.
• Ability to handle and appropriately escalate customer complaints.
• Experience using scheduling and customer service software.
