Recreation Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and proactive Recreation Attendant to join our luxury resort in Dubai. You will ensure guests enjoy a clean, welcoming pool environment while delivering personalized, high-quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests, issue towels, chaise-lounge and cabana covers, and assist with set-up.
• Collect and remove used towels and debris from pool decks throughout the day.
• Maintain pool cleanliness, set-up, and ambiance to create a positive first impression.
• Promote and up-sell wellness and recreation services to maximise revenue.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including pool preparation according to standards.
• Adhere to hotel fire, life-safety and emergency procedures.
• Uphold a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience as a recreation or pool attendant.
• Excellent customer-service orientation.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Basic first-aid and emergency response knowledge.
• Willingness to undertake any duties delegated by the department manager.
