Regional CL Business Development Head IMEA

About the role

The Regional Head of Business Development – Contract Logistics (IMEA) will lead the commercial growth of Hellmann’s contract logistics services across the region. You will shape and execute the business development strategy, build strong customer relationships and drive profitable revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the regional contract logistics business development strategy.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing strategic accounts.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities across IMEA.
• Lead and support complex RFQs, RFPs, customer presentations and contract negotiations.
• Partner with Country Managing Directors, Sales, Operations and Solutions Design to create competitive, profitable solutions.
• Support countries in winning large, multi‑country logistics opportunities.
• Ensure commercial governance, sales discipline and accurate pipeline reporting.
• Monitor performance metrics, sales KPIs and forecast accuracy.
• Identify market trends and growth opportunities to strengthen Hellmann’s market position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 8–10 years of experience in business development, contract logistics or supply chain management, preferably with regional exposure across IMEA.
• Proven track record of acquiring new business and managing strategic customer relationships.
• Strong experience leading complex RFQs, RFPs, commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
• In‑depth knowledge of contract logistics solutions, supply chain operations and value‑added services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional strategies that deliver profitable growth.
