Registered Nurse

About the role

The Registered Nurse will deliver safe, patient‑centred care in Dubai, working within the UAE Code of Conduct and scope of practice. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual care programmes while upholding the reputation of the nursing profession.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs and care programmes under indirect supervision of senior nursing staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all aspects of the UAE Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice and licensure requirements.
• Refuse tasks for which you are not trained or competent and seek expert help when needed.
• Delegate tasks only to team members who are trained, skilled and competent.
• Assist in updating clinical policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
• Manage deteriorating patients promptly using the Early Warning System and American Heart Association emergency algorithms.

Required profile

• Valid licence to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments when required.
• Ability to act as a positive role model and demonstrate insight into personal and team behaviour.
• Responsibility for timely management of professional re‑licensure.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
