Regulatory Quant & Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Bybit is seeking a mid‑level Regulatory Quant & Intelligence Specialist to join its Regulatory Compliance function in Dubai. The role will build an AI‑native legal and compliance intelligence capability, turning regulatory texts into structured decision models and designing automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Translate legislation, regulatory guidance and internal policies into decision frameworks, rule sets and scoring models for compliance tooling.
• Define quantitative thresholds such as risk scores, confidence levels and escalation triggers to determine when automated decisions are appropriate.
• Design and prototype AI‑powered workflows for regulatory research, licensing analysis, policy drafting, onboarding/KYC, surveillance and incident management.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate models into production systems while ensuring explainability and auditability.
• Monitor model performance and align outputs with the firm’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in regulatory compliance or legal analysis, preferably within the digital finance or cryptocurrency sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to model complex regulatory reasoning.
• Experience designing AI‑enabled workflows and understanding of model governance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, data, and compliance teams.
