Reservations Manager

About the role

As the Reservations Manager you will lead the hotel’s reservations department, ensuring smooth booking processes and maximizing room revenue across all distribution channels. You will work closely with the revenue, sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and deliver excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the reservations team, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Design and implement reservation strategies to optimise room revenue and occupancy.
• Monitor room inventory, manage availability across PMS, OTAs and GDS.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to promote room bookings and group reservations.
• Analyse booking trends, occupancy reports and revenue data to inform decision‑making.
• Prepare and present regular reservation performance reports to the Head of Revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or Business.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Reservations Manager in a 5‑star hotel.
• Fluent English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel reservation systems such as Opera PMS or equivalent.
• Experience using channel managers, online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
