Residences Public Area Supervisor

About the role

The Residences Public Area Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public spaces and pool areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation after housekeeping service. This role supports daily operations, coordinates with multiple departments and upholds safety and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Assist housekeeping management with daily activity planning and act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, prepare and distribute room assignments.
• Complete required paperwork and support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards or incidents.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and deliver courteous guest service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 lb unaided and moving heavier items with assistance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and confidentiality.
