Resort Assistant Manager / Duty Manager (Russian Speaker)

About the role

Join Fairmont The Palm, a luxury resort on Dubai's iconic Palm Jumeirah, as a Resort Assistant Manager/Duty Manager. You will support the Front Desk Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing daily front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach a team of Reception Agents, ensuring high service standards.
• Assist the Front Desk Manager with operational duties and financial controls.
• Review the Open Balance report and verify guest deposits cover estimated charges.
• Process credit‑card authorisations, imprinting, and electronic payments.
• Manage the operational house bank, perform arithmetic adjustments, and maintain accurate filing.
• Conduct daily bucket‑check reports, ensuring all charges are posted correctly.
• Balance cash reports at shift end and secure remittances in the cash vault.
• Oversee reservations, room blockings, and special requests.
• Handle guest registration, maintain guest profiles, and pre‑register repeat guests.
• Ensure compliance with hotel credit policies and drive loyalty program initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front‑desk or hotel operations management.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy.
• Fluent Russian language skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, luxury‑service environment.

• Cash handling and reconciliation.
