Restaurant Waiter/Waitress – Dubai

About the role

Kempinski is seeking enthusiastic and professional wait staff to join its Food & Beverage team in Dubai. The role involves delivering courteous, efficient service to guests while promoting the hotel’s standards and values.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, upsell and suggest alternatives.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including inventory and equipment checks.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with hygiene and safety policies.
• Respond to guest enquiries, record feedback and promptly report any complaints to supervisors.
• Operate the POS system at the level of responsibility assigned.
• Monitor supplies, reduce waste and support inventory counts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
• Excellent oral and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and guests.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a POS (Point of Sale) system.
