Retail Account Manager – New Verticals

About the role

Deliveroo’s New Verticals team in the UAE is expanding its retail portfolio. As a Retail Account Manager you will own relationships with top national and SMB non‑food partners, guiding them from onboarding through growth on the Deliveroo Shopping platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with retail/non‑food partners, becoming the subject‑matter expert as the portfolio scales.
• Drive partner performance through regular reporting, business reviews, analysis and improvement projects to identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities for partners, ensuring an attractive value proposition for customers.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, operations and other internal teams to maintain best practices and support partner expansion.
• Lead site roll‑outs and map coverage gaps to enable partner expansion across the region.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in account management, business development or a commercial role.
• Background in the retail and/or pharmacy industry.
• Proven negotiation skills with a focus on creating mutual value.
• Strong relationship‑building, organisational and communication abilities.
• Confidence in analysing data to make actionable recommendations for partner growth.
• Ability to devise and test ideas quickly to drive joint business growth.
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in a fast‑growth, dynamic company is a plus.
