About the role
The Sales Assistant will support the Toys “R” Us store at Festival Plaza by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving sales. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment in line with brand standards.
- Greet customers promptly, provide product information, and thank them at checkout.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms, process transactions efficiently, and promote add‑on sales such as gift cards.
- Capture customer data in the store database and follow up on enquiries.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and perform occasional heavy lifting.
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop) for visual merchandising.
- Effective customer service and communication abilities.
