Road Test Tech Lead – Autonomous Driving

About the role

We are looking for a Road Test Tech Lead to drive real‑vehicle testing of L4‑level Robotaxi and advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS) in Abu Dhabi. The role combines hands‑on vehicle testing with the creation of test scenarios, processes and toolchains to support autonomous driving development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute road‑testing of L4 Robotaxi, L2++, PIPO and MRM features on real vehicles.
• Develop and maintain a test‑scenario library that evolves with functional requirements and real‑world data.
• Define test standards, release processes and ODD (Operational Design Domain) validation for unmanned and manned transitions.
• Manage ADAS test projects, including data collection, test organization, evaluation and training.
• Build and refine test toolchains to improve efficiency and reduce cost, covering data backhaul, automated dashboards and related utilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in functional road testing of ADAS or autonomous driving systems.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi and travel regionally for test activities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Vehicle Engineering or a related field.
