Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Sales Coordinator supports Cummins Arabia’s customer‑facing sales team throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to order fulfilment. Working closely with sales professionals, the role ensures smooth communication, accurate quoting and timely processing of customer requests.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and emails, qualify leads and route them to the appropriate sales professionals.
• Prepare budgetary quotes for simple to complex jobs by gathering technical data, customer requirements and lead times.
• Participate in customer visits and events, making decisions when procedures are not defined.
• Process orders, issue acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices for a range of job complexities.
• Communicate order and inventory status to the sales team and flag any issues.
• Resolve customer issues directly or coordinate with relevant departments, including shipment and after‑sale support.
• Monitor inventory levels, report findings and create replenishment orders as needed.
• Provide general support to branch personnel in selling products to retail customers.
