Sales Engineer – Switchgear & Power Distribution

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Sales Engineer with 7‑8 years of proven success in selling switchgear and panel board systems across the UAE and Gulf region. The role blends strong technical knowledge with disciplined account development to drive profitable orders and expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across the UAE and selected regional markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, utilities, OEMs, developers and industrial end‑users.
• Promote LV switchgear, MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, ATS panels, generator control panels, VFD/soft‑starter panels, PLC/control panels and custom‑engineered assemblies.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production and project teams to deliver technically compliant, commercially competitive proposals.
• Negotiate commercial and technical terms, protect margins and ensure contract closure.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM data.

Required profile

• B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 7‑8 years of sales experience in switchgear and panel board systems, preferably within the UAE/Gulf.
• Strong technical understanding of LV switchgear, protection devices and power distribution requirements.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel across the UAE.
• Professional English communication skills.

• PLC/control panels, feeder pillars, electrical enclosures, custom‑engineered assemblies.
• Product knowledge of Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, Eaton, Legrand, LS Electric.
