Sales Lead – Special Access Medicines & Hospital Business

About the role

The company, a leading pharmaceutical firm operating across the GCC, is launching a new Special Access Medicines (SAM) division in the UAE. As the Sales Lead for SAM and Hospital Business, you will build this business from the ground up, focusing on hospital and healthcare markets in Dubai and the wider UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for the SAM division, defining commercial frameworks and growth targets.
• Identify and build a pipeline of unmet medicine needs, drug shortages, rare and specialty medicines within UAE hospitals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and key decision‑makers.
• Source and coordinate the supply of special access medicines, working closely with regulatory and supply teams.
• Convert identified opportunities into sustainable business, managing the full sales cycle.
• Collaborate with senior management to set priorities, targets and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or business development within the UAE healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong network of hospital contacts and deep market intelligence on drug shortages and specialty medicines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and ability to build a new business line.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and key‑account management skills.
