About the role
Progressive is partnering with a leading district‑cooling operator to recruit a SCADA Engineer who will support automation and control systems across several plants in the UAE. The position is a six‑month fixed‑term role based on‑site in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Lead system upgrades and plant optimisation initiatives.
- Manage central control‑room operations and contribute to digitalisation projects.
Required profile
- Engineer with hands‑on experience in SCADA platforms and industrial PLCs.
- Familiarity with utilities, district‑cooling, water‑treatment or power‑generation environments.
Required skills
- SCADA systems: WinCC, Cimplicity, FactoryTalk, Citect.
- PLC families: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Emerson.
- Industrial communications, control networks, SQL, historian and reporting platforms.
