School Nurse

About the role

The Millennium School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of its students and staff. This full‑time, on‑site role involves providing immediate medical care, maintaining health records and supporting the school’s health policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records for all students.
• Monitor and verify student immunisation status in line with Ministry of Health requirements.
• Promote health, hygiene and safety practices across the campus.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school health policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with parents, healthcare providers and school leadership as needed.
• Provide medical support at school events and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and school policies.

Required profile

• Recognised BSc in Nursing or a 3‑year General Nursing Certificate.
• Ministry of Health licence (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar school or community health role.
• Current knowledge of healthcare practices and regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergencies.
