Security Engineer – Threat Detection & Response

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer with 4–7 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. The role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, threat analysis, malware analysis and detection engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM, EDR, NDR and other security tools, perform incident triage, investigation, containment, eradication and recovery.
• Correlate network, endpoint, cloud and application logs to detect malicious behavior and develop SIEM use cases and detection rules.
• Analyze network telemetry, endpoint logs and threat intelligence, correlate IOCs and TTPs, and provide threat context and attribution.
• Develop detection logic using Sigma, Snort, YARA and custom scripts, and conduct proactive threat hunting.
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis using Ghidra, IDA Pro, x64dbg and Cuckoo Sandbox, reverse‑engineer binaries, and create YARA rules and behavioral signatures.
• Support digital forensics, maintain incident documentation and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, SOC or incident response.
• Strong knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux internals, malware behavior and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
