Training Specialist – Standards & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Training Specialist focused on Standards & Operations to join the Emirates Group Security Training team. In this role you will ensure that security training programmes meet regulatory requirements, international standards and the Group’s values, while keeping training content and manuals up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Review trainer performance after each training session to confirm compliance with approved content and standards.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operations and documented processes for security training.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Group Security, Airport Services, flight operations and medical and safety teams.
• Update security‑related content and procedures in manuals to reflect the latest requirements from bodies such as NCASTP, AOSP, AOSTP, IOSA, ISAGO and GCAA.
• Manage the security training manuals, standards, processes and quality‑assurance documentation, ensuring proper document control and reporting.
• Approve training material to meet trainee needs and regulatory obligations, and submit updates to the Training Manager for final approval.
• Plan and allocate training manpower, schedules and resources based on stakeholder demand, and communicate changes promptly.
• Coordinate third‑party training requirements, allocate sessions and handle related correspondence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security training, training operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of aviation and security regulatory frameworks (e.g., GCAA, IOSA, ISAGO).
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills with a focus on quality assurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date training standards.
