Security Platform Specialist (Emirati Talent)

About the role

Advanced Concepts, a division of EDGE, is looking for a Security Platform Specialist to install, configure and maintain cutting‑edge cybersecurity platforms that protect autonomous aerial systems and advanced munitions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and harden SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Manage log collection, normalization, and ingestion into the SIEM, and tune detection rules.
• Maintain system availability, performance and reliability, including patching and lifecycle activities.
• Ensure configurations comply with NIST SP 800‑53 and SP 800‑171 and internal security policies.
• Document configurations, maintain the CMDB and provide evidence for audits.
• Support cybersecurity analysts with log visibility, incident investigations and platform upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or platform administration.
• Experience working in classified or high‑security environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks and security hardening standards.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or QRadar.
• Proficiency with endpoint security tools (EDR/XDR).
• Log management, data ingestion and correlation techniques.
• Knowledge of IAM, DLP, IDS/IPS and security configuration standards.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+, vendor‑specific SIEM certifications).
