Senior Architect

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design of transport‑related facilities in Dubai. The role focuses on creating innovative, sustainable solutions for stations, depots, landscapes and related buildings within public‑transport projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for landscape, station, depot and building projects.
• Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners and construction professionals to ensure integrated delivery.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to achieve successful completion.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Mentor junior architects and design staff, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies and best practices and incorporate them into designs.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Professional licensure as an Architect.
• Minimum 15 years of architectural design experience, with a focus on landscape, station, depot and building projects.
