Senior Business Development Manager – Payments Solutions

About the role

Senior Business Development Manager – MENA & Africa will lead Finera’s commercial expansion across the broader MENA region, the Gulf Cooperation Council and African markets. The role blends market intelligence, provider strategy and relationship management to grow Finera’s payment solutions footprint in fast‑developing ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure regional payment solutions aligned with merchant and business requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations with PSPs, local acquirers, payment institutions and mobile money operators.
• Map local payment landscapes, monitor regulatory developments and evaluate coverage gaps.
• Structure deals that meet Finera’s margin expectations and maintain a competitive provider matrix.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Account Management to support integration and go‑live processes.
• Represent Finera at industry events, conferences and provider meetings as the subject‑matter expert for MENA and Africa.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payments, fintech or iGaming within a PSP, acquirer or aggregator environment.
• Background in business development, partnerships or provider acquisition across MENA or African markets.
• Strong deal‑making track record with focus on long‑term commercial partnerships.
• Deep knowledge of PSPs, local acquirers, card networks, APMs, mobile money and regional payment rails.
• Familiarity with high‑risk verticals such as iGaming, crypto or forex is a strong advantage.
