Senior Developer – UAE National

About the role

The Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Senior Developer (UAE National) to lead the evolution of its iBank onboarding platform. You will work closely with business, operations, compliance and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain the iBank onboarding platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support production and non‑production environments, handling incidents, problems and change requests.
• Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues and integration failures.
• Coordinate deployments, releases and post‑release validation activities.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Ensure application availability, security and compliance with bank standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs and support runbooks.
• Participate in CAB, DR and audit/compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering (Master’s in Management/IT preferred).
• 5+ years of IT experience in banking or financial services, preferably with wholesale banking or client onboarding solutions.
• Hands‑on experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting enterprise web applications.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, application security, regulatory compliance, DR, CAB and audit support.
