Senior ELV Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior ELV Engineer to lead the execution, coordination, testing and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV), ICT, SCADA, BMS and Life Safety systems across commercial, residential and mixed‑use projects in Dubai. The role involves technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with specifications, local authority regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end execution of ELV and Life Safety systems, supervising installation, testing, integration and commissioning.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions and RFIs.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections, testing and documentation, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records, reports and handover packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8‑12 years of experience in ELV system execution and engineering, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations, including DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence.
• Proven experience on large‑scale commercial, residential or mixed‑use developments.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
