Senior Engineer Drilling Services

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Drilling Services will lead the management of drilling service contracts for ADNOC Onshore, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ADNOC policies and legal requirements. The role operates independently on assigned projects, driving tender strategies, contract execution and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Identify tender needs, develop business cases and obtain approvals.
• Assess and pre‑qualify bidders, prepare technical scopes, pricing structures and specifications for contracts.
• Lead tender committee meetings, review submissions and represent technical aspects.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations, support negotiations and manage contract variations.
• Monitor mobilization, HSE compliance, contractor performance and allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to capture lessons learned and improve future contracts.
• Negotiate claims, manage disputes and ensure contract closure.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree with extensive experience in drilling services.
• Proven track record in managing drilling contracts and tender processes.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC policies, legal requirements and HSE standards.
• Ability to evaluate bidder competency and lead technical review meetings.
• Experience in contract administration, variation management and dispute resolution.
