Senior Front-End Engineer - Geospatial Platforms

About the role

EDGE is looking for a senior front‑end engineer to shape the user‑facing layer of its next‑generation geospatial web platform. You will translate product priorities into high‑performance, accessible interfaces and own features from design through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core UI components using React.js, TypeScript and modern tooling such as Vite, Webpack or esbuild.
• Create responsive, accessible designs with Tailwind, MUI, Radix, shadcn/ui and Storybook.
• Implement state management with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query or Context API.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT) and real‑time data via WebSockets or SSE.
• Architect modular, scalable systems including micro‑frontends and module federation.
• Optimize performance for bundle size, lazy loading, code‑splitting and Core Web Vitals.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests using Jest, Vitest, RTL, Playwright or Cypress.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, preview deployments and enforce code quality with ESLint, Prettier and strict TypeScript.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, HCI or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional front‑end development on production web applications.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES2020+) and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, modern CSS and responsive design.
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack, Rollup, esbuild) and version control workflows.
