Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

About the role

In this position you will work with a global industry leader, partnering with Dautom as the trusted IT consulting provider, to design and deliver automation solutions across hybrid on‑premise and multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation workflows for on‑prem VMware/VCD, Azure (IaaS/PaaS, AVS, networking, disaster recovery), Oracle Cloud ExaCC and OpenShift clusters.
• Automate provisioning of compute, storage, network, firewalls, PKI, identity, security, backup, monitoring and DR across Linux and Windows platforms.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Ansible Automation Platform (Tower), Terraform and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Integrate automation with Git‑based DevOps pipelines and ensure governance of infrastructure code.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in infrastructure, automation engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Proven track record automating hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Ansible, Terraform, Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with VMware/vCenter/vSphere, Azure automation (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), Oracle Cloud IaC and OpenShift automation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows configuration management and Git‑based workflows.
