Senior IT Security Analyst

About the role

In this role you will ensure the secure operation of IT systems, networks, servers and applications. You will manage day‑to‑day administration of network security devices and perform security event correlation and response to protect enterprise assets.

Key responsibilities

• Administer firewalls, intrusion prevention systems and baseline defence solutions across the enterprise network.
• Monitor security events, correlate alerts and take predictive, preventive or corrective actions.
• Conduct security and risk assessments on business‑critical ICT systems.
• Perform packet‑capture analysis and event‑log analysis to investigate incidents.
• Document configurations, procedures and incident reports.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend security improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security with a focus on network security.
• Strong knowledge of network layers, routing protocols, switching, multicast, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and VPN technologies.
• Proven ability to perform threat and risk assessments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CheckPoint, Cisco) are a plus.
