Senior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Edge is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead and supervise Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) maintenance activities in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all maintenance work follows work orders, meets safety standards, and supports flight operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and supervise UAS maintenance performed by teams, ensuring tasks are safe, effective and efficient.
• Maintain and update all maintenance documentation, including manuals, log cards and log books, in coordination with the Maintenance Planner.
• Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee work meets ADASI quality standards and that facilities remain clean and orderly.
• Provide daily maintenance status reports to the Senior Line Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Planner.
• Support field operations, test and training flights, ensuring UAS are in a safe‑to‑fly state and configured as required.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in UAS maintenance or related field.
• Proven ability to supervise maintenance teams and coordinate with planners.
• Strong focus on safety, documentation accuracy and quality assurance.
• Ability to communicate maintenance status and issues promptly.
