Senior Manager Contracts (Contract Negotiation)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Contracts will lead the creation, negotiation and administration of construction and consultancy agreements across Arada’s development portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that contractual frameworks protect the company’s commercial interests throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and negotiate construction, consultancy and supplier contracts in line with project objectives.
• Develop contract strategies and support tendering activities, including documentation, scope reviews and commercial evaluation.
• Provide ongoing contractual guidance during project delivery, managing variations, extensions of time and payment matters.
• Monitor compliance of contractors, consultants and suppliers and enforce contract governance procedures.
• Assess and respond to claims, negotiate dispute resolutions and work with legal teams on arbitration or litigation when required.
• Identify commercial and contractual risks early, propose mitigation measures and ensure proper risk allocation.
• Advise internal stakeholders on procurement, risk and commercial issues, acting as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in contract formation, negotiation and administration within construction or real‑estate development.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage risk and protect organisational interests.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the capacity to influence senior internal teams.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and industry standards governing construction contracts.
