Senior Network Management Engineer (NOC)

About the role

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer acts as the constant watch‑keeper for M42 Healthcare’s IT estate, monitoring servers, networks, security tools and applications 24x7. The role ensures early detection of service degradation, protects patient‑care continuity and drives rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all production infrastructure, network, application and security alerts using the consolidated NOC console on a rotational shift.
• Perform first‑response triage, classify severity, and execute documented runbook actions.
• Open, update and own incidents in the ITSM platform with accurate categorisation and impact assessment.
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 owners within SLA timelines and manage Major Incident Management (MIM) communications.
• Produce shift handover reports, track SLA performance and coordinate planned maintenance windows.
• Validate backup job completion, replication health and disaster‑recovery sync status.
• Engage vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell and HPE for hardware faults and support tickets.
• Maintain operational dashboards, alarm consoles and event‑correlation rules.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in network operations or NOC environments.
• Strong analytical skills for alert triage and incident classification.
• Ability to work 24x7 rotational shifts and follow documented runbooks.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder updates and vendor coordination.
