Senior Nuclear PET / CT Technologist

About the role

The Senior Nuclear PET/CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high‑quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal image quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of NM SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment.
• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals and medications in accordance with state, federal, and DHA regulations.
• Perform venepuncture, intravenous access, and monitor patients during procedures while applying ALARA principles.
• Evaluate images for technical quality, differentiate normal from pathological findings, and communicate results to physicians.
• Respond to emergencies, provide in‑service education to staff, and maintain archival storage of digital data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nuclear Medicine Imaging with active home‑country registration and a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license.
• 3–5 years of experience as an NM and PET/CT technologist, knowledge of equipment standards, JCIA accreditation, and radiation safety.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
